Today is friday....sit back, take a long breath, and realise that in a few hours you will be doing nothing for two days.

Work is making it so that i don't blog very much anymore. I really should stop that habit. I need to be part of the web writing community! I am going to start using bloggerbot more often. OK, no surprise i have work to do :)

In my apartment there is a gamecube .
In my apartment there is a x-box .

I bought the gamecube. My roomate got the x-box. The gamecube is so very small and so very stylish. The x-box is black and very heavy. I put down the x-box a lot and was definitly sceptical but playing Halo i definilty was surprised - it is pretty damn good. Microsoft has put a lot of money into this machine and made a power house. A huge black dog. It can do more then this too - and that is amazing.

The gamecube has not yet amazed me but it is fun to play. It is fun to look at. It makes me smile. I think some of the games nintendo will put out will be amazing. Only time will tell. It occured to me that nintendo is feeling a little like apple these days. They are making high quality good looking products and are going head to head with microsoft. I hope gamecube does well - only because i think it is good for the market and because i want it to be around for awhile. Okay enough talking - i am going to go play some dreamcast :)

Walking: an amazing activity if you ask me (and you did).

I just love the feeling of walking around not always with a set destination or even pasath - just going foreward for the sake of movement and the luxry of seeing your surrondings. The more i walk the more i find that sometimes i can even close my eyes and it feels like i am floating almost. Yes i know, a little dramatic, but it is the best way to describe it. No worries or distractions - just feet moving eyes closed. Smooth. Comforting. Simple

I am thankful for Google . I feel like it has become the navigation of every site i want. I ask for a site - or even a specific place in a site and it brings it to me. It understands that i can't spell to save my life and helps me when i need it. Thank you Google

Its been awhile since i posted - the cable being out and all. But i am at "home" for turkey day so i thought i would post.

Thanksgiving is one of my favorite holidays. It centers around eating and being with your family - not bad if you ask me. I had a wondeful day - i hope you all did too.

Apple can't always be king

i was walking down 3rd ave last night at about 11 - when i saw a homeless guy hudled into the corner of some store. He seemed asleep so i walked on. When i came back about a half hour later, he was still there and he motioned to me - i said hi and asked him if he wanted some coffe (it was damn cold out) - he said no all he wanted was a cigarette - please he said. I don't know why exactly but i felt kinda angry at him. Thinking - why would he want that and not a hot cup of coffe. The more i think it over though - people's wants and needs are so different from person to person - we can't even imagine sometimes. To him a cigarette is worth more then anything.

i think i have been messed up in regards to women and relationships buy the ever wonderful movie and tv. I just watch too much stuff i guess. Anyway it was a good movie: Love and Sex

I got a job! No more waking up at noon. No more taking four hours to do everything. Hmm and this is a good thing :) I can't wait to get back and doing some cool stuff with a bunch of smart people. But first i have five days to enjoy life without work - so who wants to see a double feature?

Quick - run over and leave my page (!) and go to JoelOnSoftware . He did a redesign and it is a good one - not because the page looks that different but because he is using an entirely different tool (one in which he and his trusty team created ) , called CityDesk, to create and publish the site. Now thats a redesign! Ok i must get back to my cartoon watching. Carry on :)

See i just stumbled onto her site and its great - lots of personal content - some great info - then i see - she was one of the co-founders of Pyra which we all know and love as the people who brought us blogger! So of course i had to run and post it.

I was on the subway tonight and there were three guys playing music. One guy was playing spanish guitar, another one was playing moracas, and the last guy was singing. It was great! They weren't doing it for money, or anything like that - just providing music for the train. That is one thing i love about New York City. It forces you into situations with others. You share expirences that you would never share in other places. In some places you go from house to car to cubicle/office and no interaction really. Long live NY. If only the yankees knew how to play baseball:)

Tonight was a boring night at home. But you know when it is all over - looking back it wasn't too bad. Had a good dinner. Watched some great T.V. All this before 1 AM.

So has anyone watched the new HBO show - The mind of a married man. It is actualy rather good. It reminds me of Dream On but well grown up.

Ok i reminising about HBO original comedies - maybe it is time for bed.

Wow is all i can say. This thing makes me drool. It looks cool, is a DVD player, and a gamecube! So everyone i am moving to Toyko soon :)

I was enjoying a great night of comedy last night at Stand up NY and one of the coments said something that got me thinking. He was talking about September 11th and how he did not here the Emergency Broadcast System. Wow, don't you think this could have been a good time to bring that system out from test phase and into production. I mean QA is important but i am 23 and i remember it being tested when i was young. I searched around a little didn't find a real answer as to why it wasn't used but someone did note that if they heard it they would probably not even flinch. Well i will keep looking. This post was only a test.
